Style | Western Shirt

In the wake of the recent chambray shirt-trend, one of it's distant cousins, the denim shirt, specifically in the western shirt style, has also experienced an upswing in popularity. Denim can sometimes, at least to an untrained eye like mine, look confusingly similar to chambray which may be part of the explanation. Another reason is probably the current Americana-trend which means most people is searching to go back to the safety and stability of their roots. No piece symbolizes this better than perhaps the western shirt. Made from denim, the classic blue-collar fabric, in a style associated with the men and women who conquered the Frontier, it's a product of durability and functionality. At the same time it's style is timeless which means you won't have to compromise on your sense of fashion.

Of course this is something that many designers has picked up on, including favourite of ours like Ralph Lauren, Our Legacy and A.P.C, and have interpreted it in their own way, with personal takes on the classic. No matter which one of the different styles you prefer, you're sure to get a quality shirt that will last you ages, and will only get better with time.
